Fantasy Sports Melees Pte. Ltd. ("FSM," "we," "us," or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting personal information. This Global Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, retain, and protect personal information when you access or use the Fantasy Sports Melees website, mobile applications (including applications distributed through the Apple App Store and Google Play), fantasy sports services, and related features (collectively, the "Services"). It also describes privacy rights that may be available depending on where you live.
The Services are operated by Fantasy Sports Melees Pte. Ltd., UEN 202542786C, 138 Robinson Road, #26-01, Oxley Tower, Singapore 068906. FSM is responsible for the personal information described in this Privacy Policy except where another organization independently determines how and why it processes information.
This Privacy Policy applies to personal information processed by FSM in connection with the Services. Certain third-party services accessible through FSM may be provided directly by independent third parties and may be subject to their own privacy policies. Where appropriate, you will be informed when you are interacting with a third-party service. Additional rights may apply depending on your country, state, province, or other jurisdiction.
Name, email address, username or account identifier, date of birth, country, state, province or other jurisdiction of residence, and other information necessary to establish and administer an account.
We may collect or receive age or date of birth, identity-verification results, jurisdiction, location or geolocation information, eligibility status, fraud and security indicators, and sanctions or compliance verification results. Identity and eligibility verification may be performed by third-party providers. FSM does not currently collect or retain copies of government-issued identification documents; FSM may receive verification results or status information from providers that perform identity verification.
Wallet addresses; funding and withdrawal information; digital-asset transactions; amounts committed to Melees; administrative fees; distributions and settlements; and transaction history.
Melees entered; player selections; allocations; Melee Scores and results; distributions; and participation and account history.
IP address; device type and identifiers; browser and operating-system information; application version; login and access information; security information; application activity; and diagnostic and performance information.
We may collect or obtain location information where reasonably necessary to determine whether you are physically located in a permitted jurisdiction, verify compliance with geographic restrictions, prevent location manipulation or circumvention, and comply with legal or regulatory requirements. Depending on the technology used, this may include precise geolocation.
We may collect and retain information you provide when you contact customer support, make an inquiry or complaint, communicate with FSM, respond to a survey, or otherwise interact with us.
We may use cookies, software development kits, and similar technologies for authentication, security, essential functionality, preferences, analytics, diagnostics, and service improvement. Where required by applicable law, we will obtain consent or provide applicable choices before using non-essential technologies.
Where applicable law requires a legal basis, we may rely on performance of a contract, compliance with legal obligations, legitimate interests, or consent. Legitimate interests may include preventing fraud and abuse, securing the Services, protecting users, enforcing our Terms, maintaining and improving the Services, troubleshooting, protecting legal rights, and reasonable business operations. Where required, we balance those interests against affected individuals' rights. Where processing depends on consent, consent may be withdrawn subject to applicable law; withdrawal does not affect processing lawfully conducted before withdrawal.
We may disclose personal information to trusted providers where reasonably necessary to operate, secure, and provide the Services, including providers supporting identity, age and eligibility verification; payment processing, funding and withdrawals; digital-wallet and blockchain-related functionality; fraud prevention, security and regulatory compliance; geolocation and jurisdictional controls; sports data, statistics and projections; cloud hosting, infrastructure and technical operations; analytics, diagnostics and service improvement; and customer support and communications. We require providers processing personal information on our behalf to handle it in accordance with applicable law and appropriate contractual safeguards. Some services may be provided directly by third parties under their own terms and privacy policies. We may also disclose information to comply with law or legal process, protect rights or security, investigate misuse, enforce agreements, establish or defend legal rights, or facilitate a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, asset sale, or similar corporate transaction.
Certain features may involve transactions recorded on a blockchain or other distributed ledger. Wallet addresses and transaction information recorded on a public blockchain may be publicly accessible and may remain permanently available. Because blockchain records may be maintained independently of FSM, FSM may not be able to modify, delete, or control information recorded directly on a blockchain. Privacy rights relating to information maintained by FSM continue to apply in accordance with applicable law, but those rights may not enable FSM to alter independently maintained blockchain records.
FSM does not sell personal information for monetary or other valuable consideration, share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, or process personal information for targeted advertising as those terms are defined under applicable U.S. state privacy laws. If our practices materially change, we will provide notices and choices required by applicable law. FSM will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right protected by applicable law.
FSM is based in Singapore and provides Services internationally. Personal information may therefore be transferred to, stored in, or accessed from countries other than the country in which you live, which may have different data-protection laws. Where applicable law requires safeguards for an international transfer, FSM will implement an appropriate lawful transfer mechanism or other legally recognized safeguard, which may include an adequacy decision, approved contractual clauses, or another mechanism permitted by applicable law. You may contact us for further information about safeguards applicable to transfers of your personal information.
We retain personal information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and to satisfy applicable legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, dispute-resolution, and recordkeeping requirements. Retention periods may vary based on the type and sensitivity of information, the purposes for which it is used, and applicable requirements. When an account is deleted, FSM will delete or de-identify personal information associated with the account unless retention is required or permitted for legitimate purposes such as legal or regulatory compliance, tax or accounting obligations, fraud prevention, security, dispute resolution, or enforcement of our agreements. Information independently recorded on a blockchain may not be capable of deletion by FSM.
We maintain reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, collection, use, disclosure, alteration, loss, or other misuse, taking account of the nature and sensitivity of the information and associated risks. No method of electronic transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your account credentials and should notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Depending on where you live and the law applicable to FSM's processing, you may have rights to request confirmation of processing; access; correction; deletion; information about use or disclosure; objection or restriction; withdrawal of consent; portability; applicable opt-outs; limits on certain uses of sensitive information; and complaints to a privacy or data-protection authority. Rights vary by jurisdiction and may be subject to exceptions. We may verify your identity before processing a request. Requests may be submitted to admin@fsmelees.com.
The Services are not intended for persons under 18. FSM does not knowingly permit anyone under 18 to create an account or participate in a Melee. Users must also satisfy any higher minimum legal age applicable in their jurisdiction. If we learn that we have collected personal information from an individual who is not eligible because of age, we will take appropriate action in accordance with applicable law.
We may send communications necessary to operate your account or provide the Services, including transaction, eligibility, security, and service communications. Where permitted by law, we may also send promotional or marketing communications through channels made available by FSM. You may opt out of marketing using the method provided in the communication or by contacting admin@fsmelees.com. Opting out of marketing does not prevent necessary transactional, security, legal, or service communications.
Privacy rights in the United States vary by state. Where an applicable U.S. state privacy law applies to FSM, residents may have additional rights. Depending on your interaction with FSM, information may include identifiers, customer-record information, transaction information, internet or electronic-network activity, geolocation, commercial or participation information, and inferences or fraud/security indicators. Certain information, including precise geolocation and some account or identity-verification information, may be treated as sensitive under applicable law. Where applicable, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, obtain a portable copy, opt out of legally defined sale/sharing/targeted advertising, limit certain sensitive-data processing, and appeal certain privacy-request decisions. Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation applies, FSM is the controller of personal data covered by this Privacy Policy except where another entity independently determines the purposes and means of processing. Subject to applicable conditions and exceptions, you may have rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent, and complaint to a competent supervisory authority. FSM is established in Singapore and information may be processed outside the EEA. Where required, FSM will use a lawful transfer mechanism as described in Section 10. If FSM is required to designate a representative in the EEA, FSM will make the representative's contact details available to affected individuals in accordance with applicable law.
Where UK data-protection law applies, you may have rights including access, rectification, erasure, restriction, objection, portability, withdrawal of consent where applicable, and complaint to the UK Information Commissioner's Office. FSM is established outside the United Kingdom and information may be transferred outside the UK in accordance with applicable transfer requirements. If FSM is required to designate a UK representative, FSM will make the representative's contact details available to affected individuals in accordance with applicable law.
Where Canadian privacy law applies, FSM will handle personal information in accordance with applicable federal and provincial requirements, which may include PIPEDA and applicable private-sector privacy legislation in Alberta, British Columbia, and Quebec. Where consent is required, FSM will seek consent appropriate to the nature, sensitivity, and purpose of the information. Subject to applicable exceptions, you may request access to personal information held by FSM and challenge its accuracy and completeness. Because FSM is based in Singapore and uses international service providers, Canadian personal information may be processed outside Canada and may be subject to lawful access under the laws of the country where it is processed. FSM is established in Singapore and is subject to the Personal Data Protection Act 2012 where applicable. FSM will collect, use, and disclose personal data for purposes permitted by law and maintain reasonable arrangements to protect personal data under its control. Subject to applicable law, individuals may request access to certain personal data and information concerning its use or disclosure, and may request correction of errors or omissions. Where FSM transfers personal data outside Singapore, it will take steps required by applicable law. Where FSM relies on consent, consent may be withdrawn subject to applicable legal and contractual limitations and reasonable notice. Requests may be sent to admin@fsmelees.com.
FSM may use automated systems to support security, fraud prevention, identity and eligibility verification, and operation of the Services. FSM also uses its scoring methodology to calculate Melee results in accordance with applicable rules. Where applicable law provides rights relating to automated decision-making, FSM will comply with those requirements.

You may request deletion of your FSM account and associated personal information through the account-deletion function made available in the Services or through FSM's designated account-deletion web resource. We may take reasonable steps to verify that a deletion request is authorized. Upon a valid request, FSM will delete the account and associated personal information, subject to information that FSM is required or permitted to retain for legal, regulatory, tax, accounting, fraud-prevention, security, dispute-resolution, or similar legitimate purposes. Deleting an account does not enable FSM to delete information independently recorded on a public blockchain or information lawfully retained by an independent third party under its own legal obligations. We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes to the Services, our privacy practices, applicable laws, technology, or business operations. Where required by law, we will provide appropriate notice of material changes and obtain consent where legally required. The Last Updated date indicates when this Privacy Policy was most recently revised.
